REVELLIONS,THE : GIVE IT TIME

At last, three years after their last single, and five years after their eponymous debut album, the Revellions come up with their second full length. In case you've been living under a rock for the last couple of years, and don't know anything about this Dublin-based unit, be prepared for some of the finest contemporary '60s inspired garage-rock and soul-psych tunes you're likely to hear in the 2010s. These Irish garage-popsters are peddling a very authentically '60s sound full of Hammond organ, jangly guitars and naively soulful vocals, often buoyed by some uplifting brass which gives it a slight British working men's club kind of feel.
